Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! I pretty much can't believe its December 25th, in some ways I feel like this year just flew by! For me the whole month of December is exciting, decorating the house, baking goodies, listening to Christmas music! All fun activities with family and friends leading up to the day we celebrate the birth of Jesus! My heart always feels so full of Love and I can't help but reflect on all the ways the Lord has blessed my family and I! The other night I took a picture of my living room, the Christmas lights were on, all the presents were wrapped and tucked under the tree and my hubby had a fire going in the fireplace! Birthdays, Snow Days and Christmas Day!

December is a busy month, I think everyone on some level can relate to that. For me it is an especially busy month, December is packed full of birthdays (Mine, Fawns, My Father-inlaws, 5+ other friends, my son Jack's and of course Jesus's)! So there has been lots of parties and shopping in the last couple of weeks. Not to mention the big winter storm that dropped 12 inches of snow on the valley floor! Light the Night - Epic WIN

The Michael's have done it again! And by “Michael’s” I mean Michael Escalera and Michael Imus and by “Done it again” I mean hosted a totally AWESOME workshop! Last weekend both Fawn and I attend our 3rd workshop with these amazing photographers and let me tell you, they put on epic workshops! This one focused on Night shooting and utilizing light whether it is ambient, video lights or off camera flashes to achieve an array of different looks! I personally really loved using the ambient lighting around Downtown Reno but I also learned some really awesome techniques with the video light to create bold and dramatic images!
