Taking a Drive

Its Thursday!? Already!? Man, this week is turning into a weird combination of never ending and moving at the speed of light! Every morning I’ve sat down to write out a blog and one thing or another has prevented it! Well today is the day! I will get this blog up! 

Fawn and I have some really exciting projects on the horizon and we can’t wait to share it with everyone! We also have some awesome sessions and weddings coming up that we are super excited about so make sure to check back frequently to see what’s got us so excited!

This past weekend the Hubby and I packed up the kiddos and went on a little drive, when we finally found a spot we wanted to stop and walk around at this is what we saw! The faint smell of rain hung in the air and the slight breeze rustled the leaves in the trees, times like that one can almost forget they live in the desert! It was beautiful and relaxing, sometimes all we need is to get out of the norm and take a little drive.

And the Winners are...

Well Thank the Lord it’s Friday! The Hubby and I have wonderful plans to celebrate our good friend Mark’s B-day this evening! Again Happy Birthday Mark!

Baby Jackson-Pure Joy

On May 8, 2009, a new life entered the world…Baby Jackson! And this little guy happens to be related to me! The son of my sister, Heather, Jackson is my second little nephew and an incredible blessing to me! Our family was fortunate to visit her at the hospital and take a peak at the little guy that had been growing in her belly all this time. To see Heather's maternity pictures click here!

Summer Giveaway!

Well it’s about time for another giveaway and we are really excited about this one!

We are calling all married couples for this giveaway! 

To one lucky couple we are giving away a “Day After Session”! What is a “Day After Session”, well basically, the Bride and Groom (doesn’t matter how long you’ve been married!) don their wedding attire and we capture some uber fabulous and romantic images for the married couple to have for years to come! Not every couple is able to have a professional wedding photographer at their wedding and doing “Day After Sessions” is a great way to get some awesome images of you and your loved one that you will cherish forever!

Fawn and I want to give one special couple the opportunity to have those fabulous images that they might not have gotten at their actual wedding. In addition to the Day After Session we are also providing the bride with a fantastic bouquet for the photo shoot, an online web gallery, an 8x8 leather bound album of the couple’s favorites images from the shoot and a $50 print credit!

Nevada City-Pure Fun

Every once and awhile, my husband and I will hop in the car and take a drive. I'm sure you know the feeling...stopping by a local convenient store to pick up a cool drink, pumping up the gas tank full, heading off according to the directions of Google maps to some unknown place, all the while enjoying each others company, music and the scenery. Ahh...yes, going for a drive. It must be the "spirit of exploration" that the early pioneers had that we share so deep. So...we ventured to Nevada City, which coincidentally, isn't in Nevada at all, but rather California! An early town, established in the 1800's during the gold rush, still had the essence of history that my husband and I enjoyed. We talked, we walked, we ate scrumptious food, enjoyed delicious ice cream, and of course, took pictures! Enjoy!
