Chris and Andrea - Engaged - University of Nevada Reno

Early in the day the sky was dark and rain clouds drifted slowly through the area and by 5pm strong afternoon winds were causing havoc! I didn't give up hope though, the overcast day would work to my benefit casting soft diffused light and I made sure to pack a few umbrellas just in case the heavens opened and tried to chase us away! I was prepared for the worst but the worst never happen, we had the most beautiful weather for Chris and Andrea's engagement session! We met at the University of Nevada Reno to photograph these two love birds who are getting married in just 2 days!! Since they both went to School here it holds special meaning to them and their relationship! What better way to celebrate their upcoming nuptials then to relive the days when their love was brand new!

Here is when the sun peaked through the clouds and bathed the campus in yummy afternoon light!

Katie - Studio Session

A few weeks back I got to photograph this incredibly sweet and gorgeous gal, Katie! It wasn't my typical type of session because we were working in a studio and I'm more of an "on location" photographer. However, I'm always up for something new and different ways to be creative and I couldn't be more pleased with the images!
Katie is a Television Host and wanted to update her portfolio with a couple of different looks and I was thrilled when she called me to help her do that! I worked with her Husband last year updating his head shots (he is also a television host) and I remembered how lovingly he talked about his wife so I was really excited to finally meet her in person! She is such a lovely person and so easy to talk and laugh with!It was wonderful working with her! Also, did I mention how unbelievably gorgeous she is!?!

Kim and Eric - Pure Joy

Kim and Eric are expecting their first child, a baby girl, this coming June! The excitement, the joy and the wonder of it all was evident in this happy couple! Kim looked absolutely stunning in her yellow dress and just glowed in the afternoon sunlight. Such a beautiful and friendly couple to work with, I loved getting to know them and I can't wait to meet their precious little girl!
