Spring Has Arrived

In honor of it being the first day of spring, here are a few pictures I snapped while in San Francisco a few weekends ago.




I’m SO excited its spring, not that it really matters what it is officially…here in Reno winter and summer will have a tug o’war till around the end of May when summer will win! Just knowing that warm weather is on the horizon & watching everything come back to life & bloom fills me with such joy! I’m totally a summer person, I love the warmth, the sunshine, the green trees and birds chirping…all of it is my favorite! When it comes to winter I’m a big baby, a big whiny baby! I just hate the cold!

Relaxed and Laughing

Because we are photographers any reason to take photos is fine by us! There are even times when we willing put ourselves in front of the camera! Fawn & I thought it would be fun to get some new head shots and a good way for you all to get to know us a little better. Fawn took the pictures of me, I took the pictures of Fawn & Fawn’s husband Mike took the pictures of the both of us! Despite the FREEZING wind outside we braved the cold and had fun! We like to laugh & keep everything relaxed! I think that’s the key to taking great portraits, keep everyone relaxed & laughing! I'm not big on "over posing", I love it when I capture someone who is REALLY smiling or laughing! That's why Fawn & I love to keep things relaxed and simple, no stress for us behind the camera and no stress for whomever is in front of the camera.
Enjoy the pictures, we sure enjoyed taking them and pretending we were models for an evening!

5 Years Ago

Today is the Hubby & I's 5th wedding anniversary! I wanted to take a moment and let my wonderful hubby know that these past 5 years have been wonderful & i've been truly blessed by being his wife.
5 years ago this day I married a wonderful man who has loved, supported and cared for me more then I thought anyone could. I love you more & more as the years go by my dear!

And as a fun note, these pictures were taken by our friend Matt Anthony and they are film pictures. After I scanned them in, I played around a bit with the color!
