Stephanie and Vayda-Pure Connection

They say that "dogs are a man's best friend." Would you say so too? Well for Stephanie, "Vayda" has definitely been a long-lasting, loyal companion & friend to her and her family, for as long as she can remember. While photographing the two of them on St. Patrick's Day Tuesday, I couldn't help but fall in love with her myself! With her floppy ears and puppy-dog brown eyes, Vayda has a vibrancy & youthful appeal that still reigns in her, though her years are starting to catch up with her. I love the happy expressions you'll see in Vayda's face & eyes. With those smiles, she must know that she has been loved!

Jamie-Pure Joy

Oh the joys of pregnancy!! Why is it that all soon-to-be moms with their basketball-shaped bellies look absolutely & positively ADORABLE?!
It’s universal I think, and a marvel to me that inside that little place is a little person being masterfully put together by our Creator. I’m in awe.
And what a joy it is to capture these special moments in time with pure fun photography!

Here’s Jamie, a beautiful mom-to-be, who with her husband Brian,
is anticipating the arrival of little Haddon. I was able to journey to her house last week, for a softer, more personalized session
in the comfort & sanctuary of her own home. We had a marvelous time!





















I just love this! Aside from talking to her baby every day, reading & writing in her journal, one of the favorite things Jamie likes to do, is to place headphones over her belly & listen to music! I have heard of such delights, and now I know a friend who actually does it! Her current musical selection of choice: BACH.... Nice.

Spring Has Arrived

In honor of it being the first day of spring, here are a few pictures I snapped while in San Francisco a few weekends ago.




I’m SO excited its spring, not that it really matters what it is officially…here in Reno winter and summer will have a tug o’war till around the end of May when summer will win! Just knowing that warm weather is on the horizon & watching everything come back to life & bloom fills me with such joy! I’m totally a summer person, I love the warmth, the sunshine, the green trees and birds chirping…all of it is my favorite! When it comes to winter I’m a big baby, a big whiny baby! I just hate the cold!
