Jenna and Greg-Pure Awesome

I've had this idea in my head for months now...MONTHS! Every time I drove by a warehouse, every time I saw the railroad tracks... this idea would grown and grow till finally I got the perfect couple to give me free reign and let me do as I please! That awesome couple was Jenna and Greg! Believe me when I say "Awesome" I mean "AWESOME"! These fabulous love birds have been together for 3 years and are going strong! Their playful banter, heartfelt smiles and goofy looks they shoot at each other would make anyone get the warm fuzzies! I also had the extreme pleasure of having Erin Venters from Bella Luce Photography accompany us on our Photo excursion and we all had such a good time! I took everyone down through the Industrial district of Sparks where I finally got to have my idea come to life! Jenna and Greg were awesome in front of the camera and really worked it, as I walked them along some rundown area's and planted them in front of warehouses they didn't even blink just trusted and smiled for the camera! For me it was awesome to place this totally fabulous looking couple in such a rugged area, the contrasting themes made for some really unique images! So for our future clients, please remember that the sky's the limit when it comes to the location for your pictures! Again thank you Jenna, Greg and Erin, I had a blast and you all are some of the coolest people I know!

Alex and Gina-Pure Love

Alex and Gina were our winners for our Summer Giveaway-Day after Session! Fawn and I could not have asked for a cooler couple to work with! Honestly Alex and Gina were so awesome and fabulous that Fawn and I barely had to work, we just followed after these lovebirds and snapped picture after picture!

She is a Salon Owner and Hair stylist (if you’re in the Santa Cruz Area check out her salon- Glam! Beauty Studio) and he is working towards becoming a music teacher. They are best friends and utterly in love with each other! We had a blast hanging out with them and getting to know them, they even brought their puppy Kiki, who is the cutest little puppy in the whole world! I nearly died from her cuteness! 

Alex and Gina recently got married in South Lake Tahoe and had an intimate ceremony with close friends and family but were unable to have a professional wedding photographer to document their special day. Here is an excerpt from the e-mail Alex wrote us, “When I struggled to get through things emotionally she has always lifted my spirits and made me love her more for being the happiness in my life. With or without money Gina has never been pretentious or fake and will make the best of any situation. Gina has always been a picture person ever since the first day we met. She loves scrap booking and sharing photos. She never leaves home without her digital camera and loves taking photos of us everywhere we go. I feel so bad that I won't be able to hire a professional photographer as I barley got by taking care of all the other wedding expenses. Although I know photography was the most important to Gina, I was still hoping we could get pictures in our outfits. Then I saw your contest and became hopeful I still had a chance to make her dreams of having beautiful photos come true. If you choose us for the Day after photo shoot I know Gina would be extremely surprised and beyond happy. All she wants is beautiful lasting memories of our beautiful day. Please choose someone like Gina because she is someone I love and admire for genuinely being a kind-hearted person.”

With such a heartfelt e-mail and Alex’s love for Gina expressed in every word he wrote Fawn and I felt they were a perfect fit for our giveaway and us! Thank you Alex and Gina for being SO awesome and letting us document your love for each other!
