Road Trip Success-San Francisco CA

My trip to San Francisco was AWESOME! the Hubby and I loaded up our two munchkins and two of my brothers and headed west for the day! We packed in a lot of activities since we were only there for the day and as with every trip there were a few hiccups along the way but all in all it was a lot of fun and I'm so happy my brothers got to come along with us! I have some really fun pictures to share so I'll let them do the talking...

Then we explored Pier 39 and found this awesome candy shop, Chocolate Heaven!

Their Lemon Lucius Chocolate truffle was to die for!

this wall of fog behind Alcatraz was awesome! Looked like the island had mysteriously appeared!

After we left the Pier we came across this cool graffiti wall and I had to take a picture of my brother Ty in front of it, he makes for a good model!

It was such a fun little trip and I can't wait to go again! My next planned trip to California will take me to San Louis Obispo in October and trust me there will be some ROCKIN images from that trip!

Kathleen-Pure Fun

Recently, an old friend of my husband's came to visit Mike & I in Reno! Her name is Kathleen, and she’s originally from Germany, but is now living in Arizona. My husband originally met Kathleen in Germany while touring with his musical/singing/dancing group called “Up With People.” Her family were one of the many awesome host families that my husband got to stay with & meet while traveling. It’s been nearly a decade now, and they’ve remained friends this long! And now... I have the awesome privilege of being friends too with such a sweet person! We had a marvelous weekend- hanging out with friends, eating sushi and showing Kathleen the sights of Reno and Lake Tahoe. We even stepped away from it all and took some pictures of Kathleen in the desert! See how much fun we can be?! Enjoy! :)

Shu & Mayu-Pure Love

Two beautiful friends of mine, Shu and Mayu, are getting married on Saturday August 1st in Reno. They will have their pictures taken by the fabulous Michael Escalera, and boy.. are they BEYOND excited! Just for fun, we ventured up to Lake Tahoe to snap a few engagement photos, then to Rancho San Rafael the following day. I’ll have to admit though... that it was hard to get a serious smile out of these two!! They were not only a bucket of laughs, but their hearts are so embedded together in love... that their focus was hardly on me, but rather in each other's eyes!! I am personally excited for the union for these two, as they have been good friends to my husband and I, and I know that Christ will be the glue that holds them together in love and grace for as long as they both shall live.
