WOW, WOW, WOW! The M2 2009 Spring Workshop was simply amazing! Finally, I'm able to enter a post! Looking back on the blessed event, I wholeheartedly agree with everything Tiffany said, and am incredibly thankful to have been given this opportunity of working with such awesome photographers & models! Picture this: Saturday afternoon. You're in the desert. It's noon. The time of day that has the brightest of sun, and the least complimentary of light. There's sand. Lots of sand. So much sand in fact, that it blows ity-bitty little particles all over your body, and mischievously all over your camera. The circumstances might be a little intimidating. Would you wanna give up? Well, not the Pure Photography girls and all who came! Michael Escalera & Michael Imus orchestrated yet again, another amazing workshop!
I have to admit, that out of the two sessions we had that day, Session 1 was my least favorite. I was so caught up in the “technical” part of the shoot, that I worried too much about exposures, poses, etc. and I couldn't get my “heart” into the pictures. The models on the other hand, were great!! It wasn't until our 2nd session, that I got out of my “comfort zone,” and ran all over the place taking every image I could think of from every angle possible. Even as the sun started to set, and the cool air met the warm air, kicking up winds (and guess what else- sand!) I refused to give up, getting down on hands & knees to shoot from the ground. It was exhilarating, and I was pleased with the results!
Tiffany & I hope you've enjoyed the pictures, and if you're a photographer, consider taking one of Michael Escalera & Michael Imus's Workshops. It's well worth the time & investment! -Fawn

I really like the photo of the girl in the red dress. I can envision this one in a fashion magazine. The background just seems to fade away and its all about the girl in the red dress. Really good work from you.
Fawn,
You did great on session one, but were incredible on part 2! You got down and got dirty and pushed yourself more than you had before - the result is awesome imagery!
I absolutely love everything about the 5th image (Chante looking over her shoulder). #7 is amazing and #11 blows me away. Fantastic.
Thanks for the incredible blog love...you and Tiffany are the best!
Take care,
Michael
